The tiger is the largest feline in the world. It is the victim of rampant poaching for its fur, claws and meat.
Habitat:
The tiger lives in the tropical, evergreen, temperate, mangrove forests, grasslands and savannas.
Characteristics:
The scientific name of the tiger is Panthera Tigris. There are 3900 tiger left in the world. The tiger it carnivorous they can have two to three cubs every two years. It can weigh between 140 to 280 cm and weigh 100 to 300 kg.
